Smoke
Comedian
It began in 1969, the birth of a laughing baby boy. It was the first of its kind, you could say his career began with his first words. Born in Atlanta Ga., his family moved to Macon, Ga. when he was 2 years old, where he grew up and attended high school. After graduating high school, he served his country in the U.S. Army, in which he participated in the Desert Storm/Shield receiving multiple Army Commendation medals, certificates and an Honorable discharge declaring him a Veteran of War.
After returning home from the military, he was introduced to Al Tillman through a mutual friend. The two teamed up as Tillman took on the role of manager and suggested Smoke take his talents to the next level, and together Teeeger Entertainment was born. In 1998 Smoke made his Television Debut on the highly coveted comedy series, BET ComicView, landing him his very own 1/2 hr Grandstand Special which was held in Los Angeles Ca. The highly coveted series invited him back, four consecutive seasons of his hilarious comedy.
After the success of Comic View, he began to appear in music videos such as “Throw your Hood Up” and “Get Low” performed by Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz. In 2003 the comedian came to an agreement with Bad Boy Entertainment and music mogul, P. Diddy, to perform on a new HBO hit comedy series entitled, “P. Diddy’s Bad Boys of Comedy” released in 2005. Smoke has performed and toured around the U.S. including the legendary “Comedy Store” on Sunset Blvd. and the “Improv” on Melrose Ave. in Hollywood. In the world of comedy, there’s one thing we know, SMOKE always rises to the top.
